The sleepers

Originally, sleepers or 'dormeuses' in French were earrings worn at night to prevent the holes in the piercing from closing. Their name comes from the fact that they were worn during sleep, as 'dormir' means sleeping in French.

Today, they refer to earrings that elegantly fall along the face.
